Alright, there are several threads now asking about overlays - mostly regarding crosshair overlays by mumble. Along with Non Native Resolution Arguments. I know there are Mumble Overlays and Pla圜law Overlay but I would like an in-game one. but if you do take a liking to it, you can always use this forum to ask any questions you may have about the game. Optimize UserOptions.ini for the Best Quality and Framerate for PlanetSide 2. So guys, what do you think about more crosshair options in the game I really would like a static one since I prefer it. ![]() But you can turn it black via useroptions.in and then slap your own red dot via Recursion or Pla圜law or Overwolf overlays. you will have to add a image overlay in obs for other people to see a crosshair or just make a super tiny style5 dot in tf2. this is because both OBS and shadowplay only record the 'raw' input from the game. it may or may not be in your taste so to speak. 1 nordicfatcheese 7:28pm Originally posted by rookie: Disable the crosshairs you say Are joining the NC Just joking.maybe. if you use this and you are streaming and you have 'crosshair 0' ingame then nothing will appear as your crosshair in the stream. Wether or not you find the game too complicated is for you to decide. i know a lot of players fire vehicle weapons from third person using center of screen as their reference point. Also tried replacing the mumbleol圆4.dll with the one I downloaded, and the overlay just stops working totally. you can still hipfire without crosshairs however, the center of the screen is still the point of aim, so crosshairs are not mandatory. Overlay still works, but it doesn't display my crosshair.png I put in the games root folder, I even tried one of the crosshairs the package came with. you get much worse accuracy with hipfire so aiming down sights is recommended as often as possible (even at close range, if possible). You don't have to hip fire, hip fire is mostly for when you don't have time to aim at close range etc. The crosshair is a special case because it doesnt make anything function differently it doesnt give you any extra information and personally if someone is shooting at me i dont care if their reticle is 4 white lines 4 lines with a purple dot pink dot or someone i know used Jack White.Originally posted by QWIKSCOPER:Can I just never hip fire? Also pl2 sounds ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ complicated not sure if I'm into this. That said the amount of work it would require to try and do something like this that still wouldn't really work correctly especially when the game already gives you a good amount of information with spotting and the minimap and grenade indicators that something like this would be a waste of time. ”It is indeed a line that people wouldnt want crossed but the devs have said that a simple crosshair overlay is fine if you start doing the other things then well they didnt say that was ok and can be banned. Sure, it wouldn't be very effective or accurate, but that is a fine line you don't want to cross. Given an overlay program, and some image processing, it's not a huge stretch to start tracking player movements, or ingame objects such as projectiles/grenades/mines etc (aka wallhacks/ESP). ![]() Because you already set your colour this results in the same sight, but. For some reason there are a lot of yellow and red dot sights which are nearly identical in shape, but the yellow dot one is usually smaller and sharper. Go to Download Mumble and download the latest Windows 64 bit Snapshot In this Guide, you will be able to configure Mumble overlay. ![]() This changes any of the sights' colours to the one you chose.
